# Limitations

The limitations below apply to a single request, regardless of the timespan.

* There is a hard limit of 10MB of data sent to our OpenTelemetry endpoint, with a recommended size of up to 2 MB.
* The /singles and /bulk APIs are limited to messages of 2MB, which is approximately 3,000 medium-sized logs.
* The hard limit on data sent to our Prometheus RemoteWrite endpoint is 2,411,724 bytes. It's recommended that you stay below this limit.
