Deprecation of Coralogix Go SDK

Published: February 16, 2026

Effective: June 30, 2026

Deprecation notice

Coralogix will deprecate the Coralogix Go SDK on June 30, 2026.

The Coralogix Go SDK is deprecated in favor of OpenTelemetry for Go, which is the recommended and supported approach for collecting telemetry and exporting it to Coralogix.

Action is required to ensure continued support and compatibility.

Why this is happening

The observability ecosystem has converged on OpenTelemetry as the industry standard for telemetry collection. Standardizing on OpenTelemetry reduces duplication and provides a consistent, long-term approach across languages and platforms.

By standardizing on OpenTelemetry, Coralogix can provide:

  • A vendor-neutral, CNCF-backed standard
  • Unified collection of logs, metrics, and traces
  • Faster access to ecosystem features and integrations
  • Long-term stability and community-driven innovation
  • Consistent configuration across languages and platforms

What’s affected

The following Coralogix-maintained Go SDK is deprecated:

  • Coralogix Go SDK repository and packages (go-coralogix-sdk)

This SDK may currently be used in:

  • Go applications that send logs directly using Coralogix-provided Go libraries
  • Services that configure Coralogix credentials in code or environment variables
  • Build and deployment pipelines that download or vendor Coralogix Go SDK modules

After the effective date, this SDK will no longer be supported or maintained.

What you need to do

Migrate to OpenTelemetry for Go

Replace the Coralogix Go SDK with the OpenTelemetry SDK and export via OTLP.

What will happen after June 30, 2026?

  • The Coralogix Go SDK will no longer be supported.
  • No bug fixes, updates, or security patches will be provided.
  • Compatibility with newer Go versions is not guaranteed.
  • Support requests related to the deprecated SDK may be declined.
  • Existing applications may continue to function, but migration is strongly recommended.
