AWS CloudWatch: Data Collection Options

Amazon CloudWatch collects and visualizes real-time logs, metrics, and event data in automated dashboards to streamline your infrastructure and application maintenance. Send these to Coralogix to enhance your data management, analysis, and monitoring capabilities.

Coralogix provides multiple methods to collect logs and metrics from Amazon CloudWatch.

Use any of our customized cost-optimized options to allow Coralogix to ingest the logs and metrics and process them for further analysis and monitoring. Alternatively, take advantage of our customized performance-optimized AWS Kinesis Firehose integration options.

Sending Logs

Coralogix Lambda Shipper. Deploy our newest coralogix-aws-shipper as an AWS Lambda function to send AWS CloudWatch log groups directly to Coralogix.
AWS Kinesis Data Firehose. Select the Coralogix destination in your AWS Kinesis Data Firehose delivery stream to forward your logs to Coralogix.

Sending Metrics

Coralogix AWS Metrics Integration. Our new API polling integration retrieves and ingests AWS CloudWatch metrics in a cost-efficient alternative to the Firehose.
Use AWS CloudWatch Metric Streams with Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose to efficiently stream your CloudWatch metrics directly to your chosen Coralogix destination. This streamlined approach ensures fast and reliable forwarding of metrics, optimizing data flow for enhanced monitoring and analysis.

Open Source Tools

Another alternative, you can send us your CloudWatch data using our OpenTelemetry integration, in particular the receivers of aws-cloudwatch and aws-cloudwatch-metrics.
