Monitor and track your Jira activities in real-time by integrating Jira with Coralogix using webhooks. This integration enables you to collect and analyze Jira events, helping you maintain visibility into your project management workflows and team activities.

## Overview

The Coralogix integration with Jira allows you to:

- Track issue creation, updates, and deletions
- Monitor project and sprint activities
- Analyze user interactions and system changes
- Create custom dashboards and alerts based on Jira events

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:

- Administrator access to your Jira account
- Administrator access to your Coralogix account
- Permissions to create webhooks in both platforms

## Setup instructions

### Step 1: Create a Coralogix Incoming Webhook URL

1. Log in to your Coralogix account
1. Navigate to **Data Flow** > **Contextual Data**
1. Click on **Generic Webhook** > **Add New**
1. Configure the webhook settings and copy the generated URL
1. Save your changes

### Step 2: Configure a Jira Webhook

1. Log in to your Jira account as an administrator.

1. Go to **Settings** > **System** > **Advanced** > **WebHooks**

1. Click **Create a WebHook**

1. Enter the following details:

   - **Name**: Provide a descriptive name (e.g., “Coralogix Integration”)
   - **URL**: Paste the webhook URL from Coralogix
   - **Status**: Enable the webhook

1. Under **Events**, select the events you want to monitor:

1. Click **Create** to save your webhook configuration.
