Teams

A Coralogix team is a platform environment with its unique URL, settings, and Send-Your-Data API key.

Use teams to:

  • Group users together based on their project, department, or any other relevant criteria.

  • Collectively manage permissions and settings for team members.

  • Assign teams to specific logs, alerts, or dashboards, ensuring that the right people can access the relevant information.

Understand teams

The Coralogix platform is built on a logical administrative hierarchy designed to help organizations manage user access with precision and flexibility.

At the top level, each account has a single organization, which contains at least one team. Each team functions as an independent workspace with its own URL, data quotas, and settings. While multiple teams can be created, they’re intended to isolate specific data environments or technical use cases — not to mirror your entire organizational structure. Each user is assigned to one or more groups, through which they are granted role-based and policy-based access.

Create a team from the login screen

  1. If you haven't already done so, sign up for a free Coralogix account. You will be prompted to create a new team. Input a team name and click Create Team.

If you already have an account, click Create new team in your login screen.

Create a team from the My Teams page

  1. Go to Settings, then My Teams.
  2. Click Create new team.
  3. Enter a name for your new team and click Next.
  4. Add units to your new team. Select an origin team to take units from and the amount of units to move to the new team. The retention period of the new team will be identical to that of the team from which it received its units.
  5. Click Next.
  6. Enter the email address of the person who should be the team administrator, then click Create.
  7. Once the new team is created, you will be routed back to the My Teams page.
  8. An email invitation will be sent to the new team admin, and they will be come the first team admin of the new team, together with the org admin.
