Case sources
A Case can open from several sources. Whatever opens a Case, it behaves the same way after it is created: you triage, route, and resolve it with the same workflow. This page lists the sources that can open a Case and links to how each one works.
Available sources
| Source | How a Case opens | Status | Learn more |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coralogix Alerts | An alert that matches your Case filtering rules opens a Case automatically. | Generally available | Set up Cases |
| Prometheus Alert Manager | Alert Manager posts alert groups to a Coralogix webhook, which opens a Case and keeps it updated as alerts fire and resolve. | Public beta | Prometheus Alert Manager |

More sources are on the way, so a Case can capture problems wherever they surface:
- Error Tracking: open a Case from a tracked error.
- API: create Cases programmatically from your own tooling.
- Manual: open a Case yourself for an issue that no alert caught.
