Deprecation of Coralogix Java SDK
Published: February 16, 2026
Effective: June 30, 2026
Deprecation notice
Coralogix will deprecate the Coralogix Java SDK on June 30, 2026.
The Coralogix Java SDK is deprecated in favor of OpenTelemetry for Java, which is now the recommended and supported approach for collecting telemetry and exporting it to Coralogix.
Action is required to ensure continued support and compatibility.
Why this is happening
OpenTelemetry has become the industry standard for telemetry collection. Maintaining proprietary SDKs alongside OpenTelemetry creates duplication and limits access to new capabilities.
Standardizing on OpenTelemetry enables consistent configuration and faster access to community-driven innovation.
What's affected
The following Coralogix-maintained Java SDK is deprecated:
- Coralogix Java SDK used for direct log shipment to Coralogix
This SDK may currently be used in:
- Java applications that initialize Coralogix logging in code
- Custom logging implementations that depend on Coralogix-specific Java classes and configuration patterns
- Deployment scripts that package or distribute Coralogix Java SDK dependencies
After the effective date, this SDK will no longer be supported or maintained.
What you need to do
Migrate to OpenTelemetry for Java
Replace the Coralogix Java SDK with OpenTelemetry instrumentation and export via OTLP.
What will happen after June 30, 2026?
- The Coralogix Java SDK will no longer be supported.
- No bug fixes, updates, or security patches will be provided.
- Compatibility with newer Java versions is not guaranteed.
- Support requests related to the deprecated SDK may be declined.
- Existing applications may continue to function, but migration is strongly recommended.
