# Coralogix navigation — what’s new and how to use it

We’ve moved Coralogix to a left-side sidebar, allowing you to access core features faster and leaving more room for your work.

## Nav at a glance

- **⌘K / Ctrl+K is the new shortcut to everything.** . Jump straight to Logs, Dashboards, APM, Tracing, and more—or go even further. The command menu supports a wide range of destinations including pages, saved searches, alerts, dashboards, parsing rules, services, databases, integrations, extensions, documentation, and more.
- **Favorites** lets you pin the tools you use most so they’re always one click away.
- **Cleaner, smarter layout.** The menu groups related areas, keeps high‑value items in reach, and gets out of the way when you don’t need it.
- **Try it now:** Open Coralogix and press **⌘K** (Mac) or **Ctrl+K** (Windows/Linux).

## What’s in the left sidebar

### Search and Cora AI

- **Search / command menu (⌘K / Ctrl+K):** Open from anywhere and jump straight to any page by name.
- **Cora AI:** Launch AI-assisted workflows and answers without leaving your current view.

### Favorites

- Your personal shortcuts (up to a few items).
- Add or remove from any page using the star or `⋮` menu. Keep everyday destinations here (for example, `Logs`, `Tracing`, `Dashboards`, `Alerts`).
- The menu currently supports up to 6 favorite items. If you try to add another, the earliest one will automatically be removed (FIFO behavior).

### Cross-area tools

- **Dashboards:** Build and view business/service dashboards across logs, metrics, and traces.
- **Alerts:** Create and manage alert rules and incidents.
- **Explore**: Explore logs and traces agnostically.

### Product areas

Hover over any product area to select a feature.

- **APM:** Service catalog, service maps, profiling, databases, and SLOs for application performance.
- **RUM:** Frontend health—sessions, errors, web vitals, and network performance.
- **Infrastructure:** Host, container, and cloud views for fleet and resource health.
- **AI Center:** AI observability and evaluation workflows.
- **CSPM:** Cloud security posture monitoring and findings.

### Admin and setup

- **Data Flow:** Ingestion, parsing, routing, and retention controls.
- **Integrations:** Connect Slack, webhooks, third-party tools, and extensions.
- **Hosted Apps:** Coralogix apps directory and add-ons.
- **Settings:** Organization, users/roles, security, API keys, usage/plan.

### Workspace and profile

- Switch org/team or project, open profile and personal preferences (theme, time zone), and sign out.

## How to use it

### Using the command menu

Press **⌘K / Ctrl+K**, type a few letters (for example, `logs` or `dash`), then **Enter** to go there. Arrow keys work too.

You can jump to a wide range of destinations, including:

- Pages
- Saved searches or templates
- Alerts
- Dashboards
- Parsing rules
- Services and databases
- Integrations and extensions
- Team switching
- Documentation
- Recently visited pages

This makes **⌘K / Ctrl+K** the new “go anywhere” entry point across Coralogix.

### Keyboard navigation

You can navigate entirely with the keyboard:

- Use ↑ / ↓ / Tab / Shift+Tab to move between results.
- Press Enter to open the selected item.
- Press ESC to close the search.
- Works anywhere in the app—no mouse needed.

### Create your favorites

On any page, open the **⋮** menu or use the star icon to **Add to Favorites**. Your pinned items appear near the top of the sidebar. Use this for everyday destinations like **Logs**, **Tracing**, **Dashboards**, or **Alerts**. You can remove an item the same way.

### Expand or collapse the sidebar

Click the sidebar toggle to switch between **expanded** (labels visible) and **collapsed** (icons only). In collapsed mode, hover any icon to see its label.

### Find settings and profile options

Look to the **bottom** of the sidebar:

- **Settings**: Organization/admin configuration and platform setup
- **Avatar (team circle)**: Profile, personal preferences (theme, time zone, etc.), team/org switching, and sign out
