Fast Mode

Overview

Fast Mode in Explore provides a streamlined view, allowing users to concentrate on active monitoring and querying without additional widgets, filters, or statistics. This mode is especially useful for working with large-scale data and performance-heavy queries.

Use it to:

Optimize query performance by loading filters and statistics only when needed.
Reduce visual clutter to focus on data exploration with less processing overhead.

How it works

Activating Fast Mode

To enable Fast Mode: 1. Navigate to Explore. 2. Click on the toggle button in the Explore tab panel.

Note

When Fast Mode is enabled, the Explore screen will load without widgets, filters, and log, template and trace count statistics.
The selected mode (Fast or Standard) is saved to your user profile, ensuring consistency across sessions.

Working with filters in Fast Mode

In Fast Mode, opening the collapsed filter panel will not display associated statistics, which helps maintain performance.
To display previously hidden filters, click on the Explore settings button and then Show Filters.

Re-enabling statistics and widgets

To restore full functionality, toggle Fast Mode off. This action will trigger all relevant queries, including:

Filter statistics
Log count statistics
Widget queries
