Outbound notifications are sent to a destination type using a preset, a message configuration of templates with conditions that are rendered with data from an event to produce the final notification context.

A preset consists of two layers:

* The **entity type**, a component of the Coralogix infrastructure capable of sending notifications.
* The **entity subtype**, an additional level of granularity within an entity type, ensuring precise schema support for different types of notifications.

Integration definitions use the entity type and subtype to configure templates for different outbound notification types.
