# Knowledge assistance

Ask questions about Coralogix platform features in plain English and get real-time answers based on Coralogix documentation. Knowledge Assistance provides context-aware responses and supports follow-up questions for a conversational investigation experience.

Note

Responses are generated using Coralogix's publicly available documentation, which limits their scope. LLM-based systems are still evolving and can make mistakes — responses may be incomplete or incorrect.

## Session retention

Knowledge Assistance keeps track of past interactions for 24 hours. Your interaction history is preserved even if you close and reopen the panel.

## Prerequisites

Olly must be enabled for your team. See [Enable Olly](https://coralogix.com/docs/user-guides/olly/enable/index.md).

## Enable Knowledge Assistance

1. Verify that you have permission to manage AI settings.
1. Go to **Settings**, then **Account Preferences**.
1. Under **AI-Powered Capabilities**, turn on the **Knowledge Assistance** toggle.

## Use Knowledge Assistance

1. Open Olly from the Coralogix navigation, side drawer, or keyboard shortcut (`Cmd+I` / `Ctrl+I`).
1. Ask any question about the Coralogix platform in plain English. Select **Send** or **Enter**.
1. Review the response. Expand **Based on resources** to access related documentation.
1. Select **Copy** at the bottom of the panel to copy the response to your clipboard.

- Select thumbs up if the response is accurate
- Select thumbs down and complete the feedback form to report issues or suggest improvements
