Configuration overlays

Push one setting change across many configuration groups from a single object, instead of editing each group in turn. Define the change once, select the groups it targets, and activate it; your base configurations stay untouched, so you lift the change back off by deactivating the overlay rather than editing every group back. Before activating, **Summary of changes** lists the settings that differ for a chosen group and **Live preview** shows the configuration that group ends up with, as a pipeline diagram or as YAML. Overlays are versioned, and **View difference** reports how many settings changed between any two versions.
