ECS configuration templates
Build OTel Collector configurations for Amazon Elastic Container Service from Fleet Management, alongside the existing Kubernetes and Host templates. Select New configuration on the Configurations tab and pick ECS to get pre-validated YAML and the observability features that suit an ECS deployment. ECS support runs on EC2. Learn more
Configuration overlays
Push one setting change across many configuration groups from a single object, instead of editing each group in turn. Define the change once, select the groups it targets, and activate it; your base configurations stay untouched, so you lift the change back off by deactivating the overlay rather than editing every group back. Before activating, Summary of changes lists the settings that differ for a chosen group and Live preview shows the configuration that group ends up with, as a pipeline diagram or as YAML. Overlays are versioned, and View difference reports how many settings changed between any two versions. Kubernetes configuration groups only for now. Learn more
Configuration fallback path update
Newly activated configurations are now uploaded to the new S3 paths. Previously uploaded configurations remain at their current paths until they are deactivated. The configuration fallback user guide has been updated to reflect these changes. Learn more
