Versions page removed
The RUM Versions page and its drilldown have been removed. Releases replaced it and is now the only deployment-tracking view.
There is no redirect, so bookmarks and saved links to /rum/versions no longer resolve. Update them to /rum/releases. Saved views created on the Versions page no longer appear in the saved views panel; recreate the ones you still need on Releases. In a trace drilldown, the View RUM Versions span action is now View RUM Release and opens the release drilldown. Learn more
Redesigned session drilldown
The session drilldown has been rebuilt around four tabs: Events, one chronological stream of every navigation, click, network call, error, resource, and log in the session; Replay, with web and mobile playback and a Session Explorer breadcrumb sidebar that follows playback so you can select a breadcrumb to seek to it (partial recordings are labeled as such); Errors, scoped to this session, with a Templates and an Errors view and a Lucene query bar, and selecting one opening the full Error Tracking drilldown in place; and Tags, with all session metadata grouped across application, user, session, device, browser, and labels. When a session ends on an idle or length limit and the SDK starts a new one, Previous related session and Next related session walk that chain both ways, so you can follow one user across session boundaries. RUM data moved to the default/rum.events dataset
RUM data is now written to its own dataset, default/rum.events, instead of into default/logs. Fields in the new dataset have no cx_rum. prefix, so cx_rum.event_context.type is now event_context.type.
Accounts move one at a time, and there is no double write. Once your account has moved, alerts, dashboards, events2metrics rules, and saved views that still query default/logs or use the cx_rum. prefix return no results. Repoint them at default/rum.events and remove the prefix. Learn more
JSON viewer for the error drilldown event panel
The Event action in the Error Tracking drilldown now opens the raw event in a panel that renders it as a collapsible JSON tree instead of flat text. Right-click any key or value to copy just that token, or select part of a value to copy only the selection. The panel now matches the one in the session drilldown. Learn more
Recent searches in the RUM search bar
The RUM search bar now suggests your recent queries. Focus the search bar to see a RECENT SEARCHES section listing your last five queries, newest first. The list is shared across the RUM pages, so a query you ran on Sessions is also suggested on Errors, Web Vitals, Releases, Measurements, and the performance pages.
Ask Olly available from the tracing drilldown
When you drill into a span from a RUM session, page view, or error, the tracing drilldown header now includes an Olly AI button. The drawer opens with the trace ID and selected span already attached as context, and surfaces 5 suggested queries, root cause, highest latency, downstream failure, deployment correlation, and next debug step. Releases page
The new Releases page replaces the Versions page with a release-centric view of your application's health. Every release is its own row with adoption, crash free rate, crashes, and error templates, and a per-release drilldown shows the health chart, top errors, and Web Vitals or mobile performance for that release. New RUM Overview page provides a fleet-wide view of every monitored web, mobile, and Micro-Frontend (MFE) application, with per-app drilldown for top errors, releases, and performance.
