Compact Mode
Overview
Compact Mode in Explore provides a simplified and streamlined view, enabling users to focus on active monitoring and querying without additional widgets, filters, or statistics. This mode is especially useful for working with large-scale data and performance-heavy queries.
Use it to: - Optimize query performance by triggering statistics and filters only when required. - Enhance usability by removing unnecessary visual clutter during exploration.

Activate Compact Mode
- To activate Compact Mode, navigate to Explore and click on the toggle button in the Explore tab panel.
- When Compact Mode is enabled, the Explore screen opens or reloads without widgets, filters, and log, template and trace count statistics.
- The selected mode (Compact or Standard) is saved to the view attributes, ensuring consistency across sessions.
- Collapsed filter panel
- When opening the collapsed filter panel in Compact Mode, the associated statistics will not be displayed for better performance.
- Statistics query trigger

When you open the top widget in Compact Mode, it triggers the relevant statistics query only for widget-related data display.
For example, to show a previously hidden graph, click on the Explore settings button and then Show Graph.

Re-enabling statistics
- To re-enable statistics, you must toggle Compact Mode off, which triggers all relevant queries, including:
- Filter statistics
- Log count statistics
- Widget queries
