Backend Engineer- OpenTelemetry

Berlin, Germany · Full-time · Senior

About The Position

Coralogix is a modern, full-stack observability platform transforming how businesses process and understand their data. Our unique architecture powers in-stream analytics without reliance on expensive indexing or hot storage. We specialize in comprehensive monitoring of logs, metrics, trace and security events with features such as APM, RUM, SIEM, Kubernetes monitoring and more, all enhancing operational efficiency and reducing observability spend by up to 70%.


We're looking for engineers who love Python and Node.js, with experience in Go or Rust, to join our team and develop modern observability solutions. In this role, you will primarily work on OpenTelemetry auto-instrumentation and language SDKs using Python and Node.js, with opportunities to work with Golang and other exciting technologies and responsibilities. A passion for learning and a love for programming languages are key to success in this role.

Requirements

  • This role requires the candidate to be located in Europe due to time zone alignment and regional market focus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent years of experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience with Python/Node.js- Must
  • 2+ years of working experience with Go or Rust- Must
  • Experience with cloud environments like AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker containers
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize work


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with the OpenTelemetry ecosystem
  • Production experience in a SaaS environment, including:
  • Metrics, Logging, Tracing
  • Troubleshooting production systems
