Our unique architecture powers in-stream analytics without reliance on expensive indexing or hot storage. We specialize in comprehensive monitoring of logs, metrics, trace and security events with features such as APM, RUM, SIEM, Kubernetes monitoring and more, all enhancing operational efficiency and reducing observability spend by up to 70%.

We are seeking a highly experienced technical writer to join our team and take ownership of the documentation of DataPrime, an advanced query syntax language designed to empower users with robust tools for data analysis and transformation. Our mission is to deliver a cutting-edge language that combines simplicity, power, and flexibility for developers and data professionals.

As part of our Product group, you will play a key role in creating user-focused, developer-friendly resources that ensure seamless language adoption. Your contributions will directly impact the usability and success of our product as it scales to meet the needs of developers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including tutorials, API references, syntax guides, and best practices for DataPrime.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to gain a deep understanding of DataPrime’s features and capabilities.
  • Create practical, real-world examples and use cases to help users effectively utilize the language across the Coralogix platform.
  • Regularly update the documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and changes in the language.
  • Work closely with the developer community to gather feedback, identify gaps, and continuously improve the documentation.
  • Establish a consistent and developer-friendly style guide for all documentation.
  • Participate in testing and verifying queries to ensure the accuracy and relevance of content.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Technical Writing, Data Science, etc.).
  • Native-level English proficiency with exceptional skills in writing, editing, and creating public-facing materials.
  • 2+ years of experience in technical writing, particularly for programming languages, query languages, or developer tools.
  • Familiarity with concepts like query syntax, aggregation functions, and language semantics.
  • Basic coding skills or experience with at least one programming or query language (e.g., SQL, Python, JavaScript).
  • Proven ability to create structured, clear, and engaging documentation for developers and technical users.
  • Creativity! You will be translating a very technical aspect of the product and making it accessible to new and expert users.
  • Hands-on experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, or similar.
  • Previous experience with data analysis or database systems is a strong advantage.
  • Team player, able to collaborate across Tech writing, RnD, Product, and other teams
