19:00 – 19:30Keynote: AI Is Only as Smart as the Telemetry You Feed It

AI is increasingly becoming part of how modern teams build, run, and troubleshoot software. From supporting incident response to detecting anomalies and guiding investigations, it promises faster answers and more efficient operations. But there is a critical constraint that is often overlooked: a model is only as effective as the data it can access, and how well that data is structured.

This talk explores why the organisations seeing real impact from AI are not just those adopting advanced models, but those investing in a strong data layer. A data layer that can collect, standardise, enrich, and correlate telemetry before it reaches the model. By creating connected, high-quality telemetry, teams enable AI to reason over systems as a whole rather than isolated signals.

We will examine how OpenTelemetry provides a shared language for this connected data, and how platforms like Coralogix allow AI tools such as Olly to operate on top of it. With well-instrumented, correlated telemetry, AI can investigate issues in context, surface meaningful insights, and identify likely root causes with far greater accuracy.
