Check out the parsing rules UI in the Coralogix platform with this quick video. 

 

Parsing Rules can be found in the Data Flow tab in the navigation within the Coralogix platform. Although the platform provides rules for you, you can always click on the New Rule Group button to create your own unique rule.  

 

Diving into the platform, you’ll see all the different types of rules that can be applied in the platform. The options are endless, but what’s key is understanding how to effectively utilize them for the ingested logs. 

 

You’ll see there are rule groups that are specifically crafted to capture distinct log types, enabling them to undergo a sequence of transformations. Should you want to explore any of the groups, there’s the ability to enable and disable each, but be mindful of how you play around with these, as they can affect your account. There’s also the ability to filter the rules based on your needs. 

 

Each rule group presents a summary of its contents, and you can delve into the specific rule group to access additional details and configure rules tailored to your specific requirements.
