OpenTelemetry (OTEL) is a vendor-neutral, open-source observability framework for instrumenting, generating, collecting, and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. OTEL works to reduce tool sprawl while also working to send all the collected data to a centralized SaaS platform like Coralogix. 

 

Coralogix natively integrates with OTEL for sending logs, metrics, and traces, giving you a fully centralized view of all your data while avoiding vendor lock-in. 

 

You can configure your own set of parameters via OTEL and Coralogix without needing to invest in any Coralogix-specific code, giving you full control of your systems. Furthermore, with just a couple of lines of YAML, your OTEL agent will be connected to Coralogix in a matter of seconds.
