Armis enables enterprise companies to adopt new IoT devices without worrying about potential cyber-attacks compromising their users’ data. The Armis agentless security platform discovers devices, tracks behavior, detects threats, and takes action to provide the highest level of security.
With systems generating massive amounts of data and no unified logging solution, the team needed a better way to manage their logged data and make them accessible to developers for easy issue identification and resolution.
Before implementing Coralogix, engineering teams needed direct server access for each system in order to troubleshoot issues. Not only did this create permissions issues, it was preventing them from attaining a comprehensive understanding of the data across multiple systems.
Plus, with such large amounts of data and the natural unpredictability of data flows, they frequently exceeded quotas and suffered from billing overages.
What they needed was a centralized solution so their developers could access relevant system logs for real-time monitoring and alerting at scale, with integrations to their workflow and management tooling.
As Armis’s new Head of DevOps, Roi Amitay saw an immediate need to bring in a solution that would allow for optimization of the workflows as well as scaling coverage. Familiar with the platform from his previous company, he understood exactly what value Coralogix could bring to his new team and the entire organization.
Using the Coralogix platform, the team at Armis established data-driven engineering practices with features such as data prioritization, filtering, and data normalization. The team benefits from real-time monitoring of all logs with only critical data being sent to hot storage while the rest are directed to a queryable S3 bucket. This helps the team focus on what matters most.
Data normalization is also important as the data sources span across many environments, from dev to testing to prod. Normalization helps to create standard templates so that data can truly be unified with logs written by different developers in different systems.
Along with getting more impactful insights into the data, they’ve also saved almost $200K/year on storage costs.

Unlike most tools in the market, the platform is very intuitive and requires very little training to use which has led to widespread adoption across our entire engineering department.
The initial integration took just a few hours, and then the Coralogix Support Team helped to get the setup completed for data input, parsing, dashboards, and basically anything else the team needed.
The team uses the Live Tail feature to view all system logs in real-time, as well as the Coralogix CLI which allows them to access logs in the dev stage without using their browser.
Dynamic alerting and error ratio alerts have also been added to the workflow, along with version tagging and additional integrations to CI/CD tools. This helps accelerate the release pipeline and decrease time to market, while still improving stability and quality.
The team is using Coralogix to attain broad coverage of areas that weren’t monitored at all in the past and to successfully serve some of the largest companies in the world with the highest level SLA.
