New architecture demands a new approach

As the company transitioned from a monolithic to a modern microservices architecture, Kaltura began to assess the tools in the market that could help them reach the next level.

Kaltura’s DevOps, Support, Integration, and R&D teams quickly adopted Coralogix as their single source of truth for logs, metrics, and traces. The transition from a fragmented Thanos/Prometheus stack to OpenTelemetry-based collection was seamless, enabled by dedicated support from Coralogix engineers.

Today, around 60 team members actively rely on Coralogix to ingest over 13TB of data daily, correlating logs, metrics, and traces in real time. What used to be a struggle, like validating metrics  from complex sources, is now a solved problem. Data integrity and precision mean that engineering teams can confidently refine business KPIs that reflect real performance and impact.

Coralogix didn’t just replace the old stack, it empowered Kaltura to do more. By adding tracing and APM, the team gained deeper visibility into system behavior.
